What We've Been Up To

Here is our life in pictures......I know it may look like I put every picture I took on this post, but I promise I didn't!

The girls love to play babies! Hadley was over playing babies for a
while but now with the new baby on the way I think she's getting in
all the practice she can!

We hung out at Taylor and Addie's house and went swimming

Addie is one sexy babe!

We've been swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's house! Lexi finally decided to be brave and
get in! She thinks she's pretty cool now.

We went to the cabin over the 4th of July and did
some Rhino riding. Another fear Lexi has overcome!

We went to the Paris Idaho 4th of July parade! This is the only parade my kids have ever been
to...kind of sad, but at least they don't have high expectations! We went last year too, as long as
there is candy, it's all good!

Cute Grand kids with Grandma and Grandpa!

Anxiously waiting for the parade to start!

Taylor and Hadley waiting for candy! Lexi was content to just sit there with her hands full of
candy! She is our sugar baby!

We played at the cold beach! I wish I could say we built this sand car, but we just snuck the picture!

Cute Lexi and Addie playing in the lake! Lexi was "freaking cold!!"

Lexi even decided to brave the Jet Ski is! Only once though, she didn't realize it would be so cold and she would get splashed in the face!

Playing in the "sand box" as Lexi calls it is always the best part!

Lexi played twister with Addie and Carter

You can't forget the sparklers! I think I have the same pictures every year, the kids just are older!

More sparkler fun! I opted out of pictures this year considering I am due in 5 weeks!

We started swimming lessons! I was amazed at how well the girls did for their first time, especially Lexi, she's not as used to the water as Hadley is.

Hadley learning to dive!

Lexi jumping in! Hadley is always good about smiling for pictures

And last but not least, Hadley and her friend Brooklyn
built "the best house ever" today when they were playing.
Of course Hadley asked me to take a picture, she loves
pictures as much as I do!
We did go play at the Herriman Reservoir a couple weeks ago with Hadley's friend Ryan. The girls loved it! Lexi kept calling it "The Bear Lake". I forgot my camera so surprisingly, no pictures.
That's pretty much what we've been doing with a whole lot of nothing in between. Now we are gearing up for the girls birthdays and a new baby! July is always a busy month for us.

Hadley's Preschool Graduation

I Cannot believe my baby has graduated from Preschool. This one even made her daddy cry. I cannot believe how fast the time goes. I remember all the sleepless nights with a screaming baby wondering if it would ever end, then at the same time thinking I could never love anyone as much as I loved her, crying and all. It seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital waiting for her to come. She has grown up so fast. I love her so much and I am so thankful to have her in my life. I have always said how hard of a child she has been but I wouldn't trade it for anything. She has taught me so much and I am so glad I get to be her mom. She is such a wonderful blessing. I am so proud of her and all that she has accomplished. She is so excited to go to the "big school." I am so not ready for that yet. It just seems like such a huge mile stone and I am not sure I am ready to let go. I guess it doesn't really matter if I am ready or not. Time literally flies by if your having fun or not. Hadley is such a sweetheart and I know she has great things a head of her. She has taught her little sister so much and I know she will be a wonderful example to her new sister when she gets here. We love having Hadley in our family. It would definitely be dull without her. She has such a strong personality, which can be very trying at times but she is such a smart little girl and she knows what she wants. I have been such a baby thinking about all this, and it got me taking a trip down memory lane. Here are some pictures of my baby Hadley as she has grown. Hadley we love you so much and are so proud of you!

The Girls' Spring Recital

My Beautiful Girls!

Hadley and Lexi just had their Spring Dance Recital. Lexi loves her recitals! She puts on a show for me just about every day. Hadley loves the recitals too. She would much rather do a recital than go to her actual dance class. I think this was her last one for a while. She wants to try out soccer. My guess is she will end up back in dance though, especially after she watches Lexi do her dance recital and she's not in it. As always, I love to watch my girls dance. It amazes me the confidence they have to get up in front of all those people. I remember Hadley's first couple recitals, she was so nervous up there on the stage, but she still did her thing. She has come so far, now if she is nervous she doesn't show it at all. Lexi has never been nervous. She has always thought it was great that she gets to strut her stuff for everyone. I am so proud of my beautiful girls!

The Dino Museum

Hadley had her last preschool field trip to the Dino Museum last week. This one was kind of hard for me when I realized preschool is almost over for her. I am not ready to send my baby to kindergarten! I have been wishing the months away until August so I can have my baby, but after getting Hadley's May calendar for school I wish time would slow down just a little. Just looking at it makes me feel like if I blink August will be here and she will be off to the big school. She is so excited to go to kindergarten, and Lexi is so excited for preschool. They cannot wait until their birthdays. Lexi always asks me if she can go to school and I tell her when she turns 3 she can go. It might be a long month and a half for her after she actually turns 3! The field trip was fun, and as always Lexi enjoys it just as much as Hadley. She thinks she is one of the big kids. Hadley was a little nervous to go on this field trip because she is afraid of dinosaurs. She had nightmares about them the whole time they were learning about them. But she didn't want to miss out, so we decided to go on the field trip. She actually had a good time but she would not go anywhere near the big dinosaurs and she got really scared a couple of times. And of course she had more nightmares that night. She loved playing in the sand though, she would have been fine doing just that. Her and her class looked so cute in the dinosaur shirts they made.

Cute girls playing in the sand!

I'm pretty sure this was part of the reason
for the nightmares!

Hadley and her friend Bailey. Hadley is
holding her shirt because she is so nervous.
This room scared her to death, it was kind of
dark in there.

Hadley's nervousness was rubbing off
on Lexi!

Cute girls! I had to convince them to sit on this,
Hadley thought it was real!

My big girl! I can't believe she will have her
own field trips in September!

She is so brave!

More fun in the sand. I think this was the best
part! I wish I had one of these in my back yard.

Hadley and her class

These last few pictures of of my cute little Lexi helping her daddy in the yard. She came in the house and told me she needed gloves. I told her we didn't have any gloves to work in the yard, so she said, I'll get them. She came out with winter gloves and of course they were white! It was so cute, I put them on her and away she went. I couldn't resist, I had to take some pictures!
